Plus, summer students are eligible for scholarships, grants, or loans. Financial Aid will guide you through the process and will be available to assist you every step along the way, ensuring that every person has the opportunity to succeed at SIU.

Students also can work up to 37.5 hours per week at a campus job.  View the student work positions.

Summer Incentive Scholarship

If you're an undergraduate and enrolled in at least three credit hours over the summer, you're in luck. Two of your credit hours could be free. 

Fill out a general scholarship form and apply for the Summer Incentive Scholarship.
